"A Place of Refuge II" ~ 30" x 24" A Painting A Day Hudson River School Landscapes by Connie Tom

"A Place of Refuge II" is the second in a series of paintings that I am doing entitled "Places of Refuge Series". This work pictures a view of Bennett Springs, near Lebanon, Missouri. This is just one of the many beautiful retreats that we have here in the Ozarks. ~Enjoy!

"Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways." ~ Haggai 1:5-7.

I am not only awed by this beautiful painting and setting, but by how prolific your works are. Each one is just truly gorgeous!
