"Fishing Delight II" ~ 18" x 24" A Painting A Day Hudson River School Fishing Landscapes Paintings by Connie Tom

This was the second in a series entitled the "Fishing Delight Series". The setting is Colorado. The aspens are vibrant gold against the dark green hills. The water is clean and blue. The beautiful light of sunset highlights this lucky fisherman, the autumn foliage and is reflected in the water. This beautiful painting evokes feelings of love, enjoyment, refreshment, relaxation, freedom, and joy and would make that perfect gift for your favorite outdoorsman. ~Enjoy!

"Fishing Delight!" ~ 4/2/09 ~ A Painting A Day Hudson River School Landscapes Oil Paintings by Connie Tom

"Fishing Delight!" was definitely a delight to paint. This lucky angler has waded out in a shallow stream to enjoy the day and do what he loves to do best...fish! The sun is bright and reflecting off the water and the colorful rocks in the river bed. I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I enjoyed painting it. ~Connie

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his ways. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. Depart from evil, and do good: and dwell for evermore." ~ Psalm 37:23-27.
