This is a panaramic view from on top of a hill overlooking miles and miles of country bathed in a beautiful sunset. The nearest hill was adorned with these beautiful pink flowers which made a striking contrast to the forest green folage.

The sun was setting and the light hitting the canyon walls was amazing! You could still see a little of the blue sky just above the canyon. But the moisture in the air created this wonderful mists rising from the canyon. The whole affect was sheer ambiance. Enjoy!

This painting is of a glorious sunburst as seen from the shores in California. With the sunburst colors, the uplifting clouds and the wonderful color combinations of the reflections in the water and shore, this scene just resounded to me like a song of praise to God our Creator, which was the inspiration for the title of this work.

I love sunsets and sunrises because that's the most dramatic lighting of the day usually. And of course, I love the ocean. Who doesn't. It is mezmerizing with it's endless waves and tides rolling in. The sound of the ocean alone seems to stop all thoughts of stress and pressure and seems to soothe even the most worrisome soul. With a lot of moisture in the air, the colors are sometime prismatic. I loved how the colors in the sky are complemented by the cool aqua colors in the ocean waves. ~ Enjoy!

The sun has just risen and broken through the clouds on this Hawaii seascape. The colors were so beautiful in the sky and in contrast to the ocean. It just reminded me of God's never ending creation process of  each new day. Each new day is a day to look forward to with joy and hope. Again... another panaramic views of wide open spaces. With a beautiful sunset and at the lake. What a way to start a morning. I can only imagine the sounds those two fishermen are hearing right now. A gentle rippling of the water. A fish break the water now and then. The woodland areas coming alive with the morning. Birds, frogs... a gentle breeze in the trees. Watching the sun through the morning fog still hazing across the water. I love to wach the effects of light in atmospheric conditions. Mercy!!! ~Connie

There is something so mezmerizing to sit, watch and listen to the ocean... The endless tide coming in and then going back out. The sound of the crashing of the waves. The thousands of glints of light reflecting off of the ocean's waves. The light of a beautiful sunset filtering through the misty atmosphere creates such a captivating mood and atmosphere, such a beauty... Sooooo romantic..... Enjoy!
