"Rocky Mountain Longhorn Sheep" ~ 16"x20" A Painting a Day Hudson River School Western Rocky Mountain Wildlife Landscapes by Connie Tom
This is an original oil painting picturing the first three sheep to come up over the hill in the rugged terrain of the Rocky Mountain Range area. It's an early winter's morning. There's a morning fog hovering over the ground and there is still some patches of ice and snow on the ground and trees. ~ Enjoy!
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." ~ II Chronicles 7:14.

"Creek Retreat VII" ~ 20" x 16" A Painting a Day Hudson River School Autumn Landscapes by Connie Tom
"Creek Retreat VII" is the seventh in a series of paintings I have done entitled the Creek Retreat series. Why... I don't know, but I love the country with it's sweet, fresh air, peace and solitude and such untapped beauty of nature in the wild. ~Enjoy!
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." ~ John 14:1-3
"Redhead" ~ 8"x 10" A Painting A Day Hudson River School Rooster landscapes by Connie Tom
NEW!!! Prints Available. See link below...
"Redhead" was very different for me to paint, but it was fun. This little hen has been scratching for food on straw strewn ground, when something has got her attention. The lively brushwork in the background is expressive of her highly excitable character after being disturbed. This would be perfect for someone who collects chickens. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed painting it! ~Connie
