"Mountain Bliss" ~ 20"x24" A Painting a Day Hudson River School Mountain Washington Landscapes by Connie Tom

"Mountain Bliss" pictures Mt. Rainier from an elevated view, rising above the morning mist on a beautiful autumn morning. Mountains are such a picture of strength and majesty. In the foreground is nature's typical flora of this mountainous area. This was a study I did of one of my favorites of the Hudson River School Masters, Albert Bierstadt. ~ Enjoy!

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" ~ Psalm 27:1.

"Mount Rainier" ~ 48"x36" A Painting a Day Hudson River School Landscapes by Connie Tom

One more commission painting done! This work was a commission painting to go in the lobby of a newly constructed medical facility. They wanted a picture of Mount Rainier with a dramatic sky and clouds... a sunrise, and one that would evoke feelings of peace, beauty and healing. I hope this does what they were hoping for. ~ Enjoy!

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." ~ Ephesians 2:8-10.
