"The Mountains Bring Peace III" ~ 04/23/07" This is the third in a series of paintings entitled by the same name. The work pictures a view of a mountain lake scene. It's early morning.The sun has just risen from over the mountains on the left side. The sky is blue and full of beautiful clouds. The air is crisp and clean. There's an essence of peace in the scene that is reflected in the water. There is something so comforting to me about the mountains. Seeing them evokes a sense of greatness, stability and strength. It reminds me of the character traits of God, who created it all. The title is derived from the Scriptures in Psalm 72:3: The mountains shall bring peace to the people...." ~Enjoy!
